Our Mission

To raise awareness of the many opportunities and rewards in Fenestration to encourage new entrants to make the industry their career of choice, and to support the building of skills through a network of employer led learning, practical training facilities and qualifications.

Inspiring the Future

Talking to young people about our industry cannot start too early. The Education Sector is keen to engage with the Business Sector as regularly as it can to learn about industries and the career prospects it offers. Our Inspiring the Future campaign in association with FENSA is the perfect vehicle for all parties.

If you could give up one hour a year to talk to schools about what you do, we can make significant inroads into getting word Fenestration into the minds of young people in a way we’ve never done before.

How it will work – once you have registered you will contacted directly by schools local to you asking you to go in and tell them and their pupils what you do. The campaign is about inspiring children to think about our industry as a career choice where they can learn skills and make a good living.

Building Our Skills is developing a range of toolkits to help you speak to children and these will be available on our website once they are complete or by requesting them from hello@buildingourskills.co.uk
